Get MLB live streams for the 2014 season: watch baseball online free & paid on iPad, iPhone, Android, PC

MLB live streams for the 2014 season are available from several sources.  Some are free, some are only available with a cable TV login, and others require an online subscription.  Read below to get the right apps and links to watch baseball online and check the daily schedule of MLB live streams on our streaming sports schedule.

Free MLB live streams from MLB.tv

MLB.tv features a free game every day, you just need a free MLB.com account to get access.  The games are free to watch on computers and supported connected devices such as Apple TV, Roku, Playstation, or Xbox.  The free game of the day can also be viewed on the MLB At Bat mobile apps, but a premium subscription to the app is required.

MLB At Bat is available for iPhone/iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.  The app is free and provides MLB news, notifications, scores, highlights, and more.  An upgrade to At Bat 14 (the premium version, yes the naming is confusing) is available for $20 or $3 per month and includes access to live gameday audio, the free game of the day, live look-ins, condensed games, classic games, and the ability to follow games pitch by pitch.  An MLB.tv Premium subscription also includes access to At Bat 14.

Get MLB live streams from (almost) every game

An MLB.tv subscription provides access to live streams from every game throughout the regular season if the game isn’t being broadcast on TV in your local area.  That’s a pretty big ‘if’, as games will be blacked out that are airing on ESPN, MLB Network, FOX, or cable or broadcast channels that carry your local team’s games.  If your favorite team plays in a different city than you live in or you’re just a huge MLB fan then this is a great product.  If not, you may not get much use out of it.

The base package is $110 or $20 per month and gives you MLB live streams on computers.  MLB.tv Premium costs $130 or $25 per month and gives you access to streams on supported mobile apps and other connected devices.  MLB.tv Premium also includes access to MLB At Bat 14 (the premium version of the mobile app).

Watch ESPN Sunday, Monday, Wednesday Night Baseball online with watchESPN

ESPN broadcasts games on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday nights throughout the season and streams them on watchESPN.  Occasionally these games will be available for free, sometimes the Spanish broadcast.  Typically a cable TV subscription that includes ESPN is required to stream the games though.  These games will be included in our streaming sports schedule.  Get more info about streaming live sports on watchESPN here.

Watch FOX games online and with an antenna

FOX will be broadcasting Saturday baseball games again this year starting on May 24th.  FOX Sports 1 will also be broadcasting weekly games – primarily on Saturdays, but also some Tuesdays.

Games on FOX can be watched free in HD with an antenna.  All games on FOX and FS1 can be streamed through the Fox Sports Go website and the apps for iPhone/iPad and Android once you login with your cable TV info.  Unfortunately, all games require a cable login, even if they are on the broadcast FOX network.  These games will also be included in our streaming sports schedule.
